Graham Toy is busy gearing up for the annual NACFB Commercial Finance Expo 2018 next month -- and he is doing so with great enthusiasm. It is a particularly exciting run-up to the event for the NACFB CEO, as he has revealed that the expo will be bigger and better than before, in this its ninth year. He explains:
"We have had to increase capacity in order to accommodate the volume of delegates and also the increased stand-size of exhibitors."
It all adds up to making the event, which takes place at Birmingham NEC on June 20, being acknowledged as the stand-out get-together on the commercial finance calendar.
Although Graham has attended previous expos, it is his first time as the CEO of the association. Speaking to the NACFB website, he added that the:
"free event is open to anyone with an interest in commercial finance and 2018’s event will host a wider spread of exhibitors than any ever before, with more than 100 already confirmed to exhibit on the day.”
Graham says there is huge value in attending the event. He said:
"The quality of both the exhibitors and the variety of delegates ensured that the day was the first trade event we marked on our calendars each year.
"Looking back at the attendance figures for the last five years reveals a very positive trajectory. I would encourage anyone interested to register early as we are projected to get very close to capacity."
And while Graham acknowledges that while it is right for attendees to the expo to focus on doing business, networking and education, there is also time to for people to enjoy the event. He added:
"It is also an entertaining affair with a well-established and good-natured rapport between all exhibitors and attendees. It remains one of few places that brokers can see all their valued lenders and funders in under the same roof on the same day."
Capacity has been increased to accommodate the volume of delegates and also the increased stand-size of exhibitors,
says Graham. And he has extolled the virtues of the quality of the educational workshops on offer, saying it is
"a reason alone to attend".
"Our ‘meet the expert’ speakers can offer direct support and advice for brokerages of all sizes,"
he continued.
"We also see many lender exhibitors return year after year wanting to take full advantage of the opportunity to meet with professionals operating in the UK commercial finance sector."
*The event gets under way on Wednesday 20th June 2018 in Hall 3A at Birmingham’s NEC from 9:30am until 4:30pm. Registration is open now.
