Sponsorship from Henley Finance helped race aces enjoy success in an exhausting track event at the home of British motorsport.
The flourishing bridging finance company was behind the four-man team of race aces who chalked up a creditable position in the recent Hankook 24H SILVERSTONE.
Henley Finance teamed up with driver Oliver Bryant who competed along with his dad Grahame and team members, Philip Harris, Adam Dawson and William Plant in the event.
And the DUWO Racing outfit finished second in their class and seventh overall in an event that suffered a stoppage at round 2am because of safety fears brought about by fog. The team also managed to finish second in the BMW class to complete a highly successful outing.
Henley Finance founder Richard Butler-Creagh says Oliver and the team deserve huge credit for their efforts in what proved to be a testing challenge. He said:
"To finish so well in what is by default a gruelling event over 24 hours is admirable, but to do so in such horrible conditions is testament to the tale of the team. We're proud to be behind the team."
The superb finish will come as no surprise to supporters of Oliver, who is a respected and highly experienced GT driver.
He recorded a fantastic achievement last year when he led from the front and came a close fourth in his class at the famous Le Mans 24 hours. He did so driving an Aston Martin Vantage GTE and the success at the event was the highlight of a busy season.
It is easy to see why Richard and Henley Finance were keen to give Oliver their backing. Since becoming Autosport’s “one to watch” in 2004, he has competed in more than 500 races, many at an international level.
He has notched up 150 wins in a variety of categories including the British GT Championship, Blancpain Endurance Series and high profile historic events including the Goodwood Revival, Classic Daytona 24 Hour, Silverstone Classic and Spa 6 hours.
