Race ace Oliver Bryant will bid to succeed in a gruelling 24-hour track challenge at the home of British motorsport thanks to the backing of Henley Finance.
Olliver will slip through the gears with his dad, Grahame Bryant alongside him in a finely-tuned car in the prestigious Hankook 24H Silverstone, which takes place at the prestigious race track over March 9-11.
Oliver is a well-respected and highly experienced GT driver who recorded a fantastic achievement last year when he led from the front and came a close fourth in his class at the famous Le Mans 24 hours. He did so driving an Aston Martin Vantage GTE and the success at the event was the highlight of a busy season.
Now he is preparing for his latest challenge — and it is one which financier Richard Butler-Creagh was keen to support. He says the opportunity to get behind the 32-year-old driver was one which he felt was too good to turn down.
Richard, who is the founder of bridging finance company Henley Finance, said:
“Being involved in the Silverstone 24 Hours is a privilege, especially when you consider the great races it has witnessed and indeed the great drives who have graced the track.
"The race has the potential to be one that will live in the memory and we are looking forward to what we hope will be a thrilling 24-hour event and wish all the luck to Ollie!”
It is easy to see why Richard and Henley Finance were keen to give Oliver their backing. Since becoming Autosport’s “one to watch” in 2004, he has competed in more than 500 races, many at an international level.
He has notched up 150 wins in a variety of categories including the British GT Championship, Blancpain Endurance Series and high profile historic events including the Goodwood Revival, Classic Daytona 24 Hour, Silverstone Classic and Spa 6 hours.
